Recommended Hacks

So I very recently got into playing Metroid ROM Hacks, I don't know much about any of the tech and special tricks outside of wall jumping (which I find quite easy). I was wondering what hacks I should play, I've finished Spooky Mission and V I T A L I T Y (both of which I really enjoyed, especially VITALITY), I'm also currently playing through ascent and hyper metroid. I'd say my favorite style of metroid hack would be on the more traditional side of things with a giant world free to explore, but I also love a little change now and then. If anyone could recommend some hacks it'd be greatly appreciated.

(also sorry if this is too long of a post im not really a forums kinda guy but I've loved metroid my whole life and have always wondered what a community created metroid game would be like to play)

Don't fret too much, your post is actually on the short side.

From memory, some hacks I can recommend off the top of my head would be Metroid SR387, Metroid Scrolls 6, Super Metroid Nature, and Metroid: Rogue Dawn. It's been a while since I've played these so my memory may be a bit foggy, but I think you may like them.

Alternate M: Episode Phazon or Super Metroid Phazon as its known is a great one to play though i would suggest playing 0.3 over 0.4 but thats just my opinion.

Metroid Spooky Mission is a good Zero Mission hack to start with.
