Stuck in Tourian in Metroid Super Zero Mission

So, I've been playing through MSZM, and have been....somewhat enjoying it? It's my first Metroid ROM hack, and yeah, I probably bit off more than I could chew, but it's been a bit of fun at least.
I recently defeated Mother Brain and escaped Tourian self-destructing. At the time, I had acquired several missiles, at least 20 super missiles, the power bombs, and the grapple beam. Now, I was able to get back to Crateria surface, travel to main Brinstar, skipping the Super Metroid entrance to Tourian entirely, and circled back into Tourian via the main gate, with the statues. A Level 3 blast door closed when I entered the elevator room, and I have no means of opening it (unless I'm completely missing something).

So now I'm in Tourian as I entered it the first time, except ruined and infested with Metroids, and there are several doors that I can't open at all. (circled in green).

I thought I made progress when I got back to the area with the green circle in the lower right corner, but that lower door was locked, and nothing happened after I triggered the Big Metroid sequence in the room above that save room, except for the Big Metroid's room collapsing. Oh, and the black bars on the map? Areas that are completely blocked off by collapsed environment (there are probably more, but those are the immediate offenders).

Have I completely softlocked this save? I'm actually kind of worried I might have, because in spite of this hack's flaws, I love Super Metroid, and I wanted to play more of it, and for all its obfuscatory jank and exponential difficulty (read: how hard it is to find what to do next) curve, it's still good fun, and I'd like to see it through. I've linked my save file for the game too (uses SNES9x if that matters) if that helps.

You may actually be softlocked... I haven't used the statue room in ages but I thought the intent was for the L3 gate to close behind you the first time - on the way to Mother Brain - and then remain closed to stop re-entry.  Is that not the case?
You're supposed to re-enter from Crateria into the top of the escape shaft, and find the L3 lock in a section of Tourain that you haven't explored yet.
IIRC I don't think you're softlocked, but I'm not familiar enough with the hack to give you an escape to your predicament.

Apparently not, the Level 3 gate closed behind me when I reentered from the statue room. :/

So I assume you got the early Power Bombs by escaping the Pirate Ship?  Without early PBs you have no choice but to reenter through the escape shaft, returning to Crateria and Brinstar is blocked by PB blocks.  Probably why I can't recall using the statue entrance twice.

Probably what happened lol. Thank you so much for the modified save. ^_^

at the bottom of the big shaft use power bomb - you will find an entrance to another part of touran (based on the Super metroid one).
There is hidden tier 3 unlock.

Keep at very least 1-2 power bombs though for SM touran until you unlock level 3 lock.

Thank you, but drb helped already, and I'm not sure the circumstances at the time would have allowed that, because there was only one big shaft I knew about, and I could only bomb one section, down to the last two doors, and the one on the left was locked. Look at the map I posted to understand what was going on at the time. :P
