Got back into hacking yesterday, I opened up RF for a bit and did some editing. When I opened it back up, all of the sliders were gone thus inhibiting me from editing palettes and other items. This bug has carried over to all of my SMILE applications on my computer, including JX and 2.5. Reinstalling RF does nothing.

Anyone ever experienced this? I am unable to hack while this remains an issue.

Since the same thing is happening to all 3 editors, I can think of 2 things.

1: It could be a computer Operating system issue, reformatting the computer might fix it but you might want to leave this option as a last resort for obvious reasons.

2: Could there be a file (like a configuration file or maybe even a text file [eg. mdb text file]) that you are using for all 3 editors that might be corrupt somehow, I'm meaning a file that you have kept from the previous installations, hence keeping this file in this new installation creates the same problem.

This is all I can think of for the moment. Hope this works.

Edit:
3: I have thought of another possibility. I think it might be because the resolution your computer may be set as could be better at a different setting. Maybe try the recommended setting. Or even if it's already on recommended setting, try a different setting still.

Edit2:
4: Another idea springs to mind. Or could it even be because your computer is in S Mode? You can turn S Mode off in case you are wondering. Google comes in handy here.
