Move the statue hand & phantoon's boss statue from wrecked ship?
I'm not finding anything region related, so I have no idea.

Pretty much, phantoon dies in crateria & does not reappear, boss statue doesn't activate, & the hand is missing to the statue..

Well I got the boss statue down.

There's a single bit to check for each boss animation..

Tourian statue uses instruction $8303 to check for the main boss bit for the Wrecked Ship. The Wrecked Ship chozo statue seemingly checks for the current area's main boss, although note that the chozo should be the first enemy in the room's enemy population.

Thanks for the help, I narrowed it down to area dependent bts, due to $84:D616.

org $9491D9 : dw $d6f2 gets the wrecked ship hand to be SOLID IN CRATERIA!!!
