Not to discourage you, but this project (super metroid GBA) has been picked up and dropped on almost an annual basis. Here are 3 notable examples of this:

I also don't know if you've taken a look at our Rules page, But ideally when you are making a thread about a new hack, you should be far enough along to have media like screenshots and videos, if not also a demo. This thread is probably going to get locked but I will still try to help you.

In MAGConst (the GBA metroid hacking subcommunity) we have an assembly file that you can use to get what you want. It is called ZM_U_startingRoom.asm. The GBAtroid FAQ can teach you how to apply an ASM to your ROMHack.

For further help, such as learning how to configure that ASM to start you off in crateria, I can also refer you to the MAGConst discord server. Good luck!
