Hacks wearing top hats?

What, top hats?  Wait, that's not right.  It's Top Hacks.

That's right folks, after a 6 year hiatus, we're finally looking to bring back Top Hacks.  And we'll be going back to all the previous years that have been languishing in insufficient topness for far too long.  The voting process is now built into the main site, so it should be much easier to coordinate than in years past.

You may have noticed there are little icons on the main site to call out previous Top Hacks winners.  This is another way to help newcomers identify high quality hacks, besides the rating system.

If this sounds exciting and you'd like to contribute, there are several opportunities to help out.  You could make some snazzy looking award icons to feature on the site, or a banner for a particular year to show off your favorite entries.  Or you could volunteer to help with the community organization and actually running the voting process.  And of course, you can make an awesome hack and try to win a Top Hacks award of your very own  :razz:

Otherwise sit back and wait for the announcement (hopefully soon) that voting has begun!
