How can I change the text on the title screen and file select, i.e "Press start", "Delete file", etc. I couldn't find the option to do so in the text editor of MAGE :(

Conner

Those "Texts" are actually graphics. You can find the GFX and pallete offsets on the ZM GFX data map, which you can find on the ZM hacking wiki.
You can open the offset in MAGE's GFX editor and then export as Image and edit them in a dedicated programm.

The MF Graphics Data Map is "foobar" on the Wiki :(

Conner

Oh I didnt realise you were talking about fusion. It should work the same if you find the GFX offset

DandyDNA

Fusion seems to use different offsets, as MAGE tells me "There are no compressed graphics at the given offset."

Cpt.Glitch

You can use NLZ (on romhacking.net) to find compressed GFX in the rom. Feel free to document any addresses you find for Fusion. I made the ZM GFX map, but never got to making a Fusion one.

They are just ASCII characters in the rom. You can find them by using a hex editor.
