Room of the Month - August 2019

Another room for my Zero Mission hack. I've been working hard on this one. Really like where it's going.

Tileset uses a combination of stuff from ZM, Fusion, as well as Megaman X2 and Megaman 7. Plus I drew some stuff myself, like the busted up walkways. Also had to tweak a lot of the tiles to get them to fit inside the game's strict tile/palette limitations. Also did some tweaking to the background to remove some weirdness on the clouds. Of course the bg tiling is weird in the editor, so just use your imagination. Looks right in the included video though.  :grin:

I gave it a washed out palette to make it feel oppressive. I still need to add in an animated sand tile for the sand pits, but I'm having trouble getting it to work in mage. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been using MAGE recently. (Heathen!) Currently, this room is a result of practice with importing and exporting tilesets, editing backgrounds, and so on.
