After a productive Fourth of July break, a few more rooms are complete. Morph ball bombs are coming up soon.

Nice work.
Like the organic look!

Thanks Flower. The tileset is Black Falcon's Arboretum, expanded with custom tiles. The tiling in the rooms is inspired by the art style DMan used in Eris. In Metroid Prime, the ruins area is crumbling and overgrown, so I am trying to simulate that feel.

The Energy Core, Burn Dome, and Furnace Access are done.

It took a while, but I have finally built out the rest of the rooms, including a unique boss fight in the Sunchamber. All that's left now is to look for bugs, and add polish such as item percent. Once I feel good with things, I'll recruit a few beta testers. Release is on track for a month or two from now.

Okay, it's ready. The IPS is in dropbox, which is posted on the Discord.

There are still minor bugs which should not break the game.

You can get above 100% if you perform sequence breaks.

Time to complete- 30 minutes.

I used many resources in this, I will post the credits when I officially release.

I have had trouble with the discord link expiring (I thought I had set it as non-expiring). There is a new one up now which I hope stays working.

So beta version 1.1 is posted. I fixed a few bugs such as bad enemy GFX and FX data. The area name on the hex map is no longer grey. Hooray!

I've cleaned up the original post and updated progress. Phendrana will probably open to the public sometime in 2020.

Looking good. I will follow this hack progress.

Bump. The OP has been cleaned up significantly, and updated to reflect the next hack's name and progress. Plus it's been four months so why not?

Coming sometime in (probably) 2020- it's the Phendrana Frolics!

Start in the scenic Chozo Ice Ruins, explore the Glacier One research base, and if you thought Kraid-grah's pool party was fun, get prepared emotionally and physically for Thardus' Family Friendly snowball* fight in the Quarantine Chamber! That's right folks, alien rock monsters isolate too!
*The snowballs are rocks.

Hop onto the Tallon IV Discord for questions, comments, and updates! If that's not for you, the OP is updated fairly frequently as well. Stay frosty!

Update: Every room is complete. Only polish, testing, and bug fixes remain. Phendrana Frolics will release by the end of this year, or early next year. Volunteer testers are welcome.

Ah ok. I think this is what is happening with the glitch. The pickup wants to display the name of the item, but it just shows a blank pause rather than the message. I didn't know that's what I had was boost ball. My glitch happens with snes9x for wii homebrew. Not sure which other versions it happens in. Just fyi.

ps thanks, cool game! I enjoyed chozo ruins rumble. Some pretty clever ways to open gates! Sort of recognize where I am in it's Prime counterpart too which is cool.
