Ceres Colony Hack

Hi guys,

I want to make a hack that involves only using the ceres colony for all the rooms, doors, PLMS, enemies, save stations, etc. Is this even possible? I downloaded JAM's patch that allows use of ceres and the debug room and applied that patch to my original rom in hopes that it would let me fully edit and use the ceres rooms, but it seems more complicated than that. Can I create new ceres rooms using the method of copying room header + level data pointers and then modifying from there? I'm familiar with the process of creating rooms described in begrimed's mod manual and I've used that method for previous hacks of mine that uses Areas 01-05, but I'm trying to use ceres for the first time now. Is there a guide out there for messing with ceres specifically or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ceres is a finicky area that breaks easily. It'll be way easier for you to simply extract the Ceres tileset, and use it in non-Ceres areas.
