I would like to edit the title screen to where it says Super Metroid ______.  How do I go about doing this?

The graphics themselves can be edited in Tile Layer Pro which can be found here: http://metroidconstruction.com/resource.php?id=64

I believe that the graphics for the title screen is around $A6000, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I have Tile Layer Pro in front but I have no idea how to change what I want or understand it.  All I want to do is add a few words after Super Metroid.  In Smile, I have seen under Graphics and Special GFX where it says Title 1 and 2 and SM Logo.  This is frustrating for a noob.
I wish there was a tutorial video or an easy way for someone who hasn't done this before to do.

Create a backup!!

Open SMILE RF

Click Windows > Tileset Editor
Change Special GFX to 'Title 2'
Click 'Export Graphics'
(Pay attention to what the title bar tells you, as this is the graphics file you'll need)

Click Windows > Palette Editor
Change Special Palettes to 'Title Stuff'
Click 'Export' (at the bottom)
(Pay attention to what the title bar tells you, as this is the palette file you'll need)

Open Tile Layer Pro

Click File > Open...
Select the graphics file you exported a minute ago
Click View > Format > SNES (You should see the graphics now, but the colours will be weird)
Click Palette > Load...
Select the palette file you exported a minute ago.
Click the up / down arrow to get to the correct palette. Mine was sixth from the top.

That should get you started.
Once you're done, save your new graphics (and palette if you edit it).

Back in SMILE RF, do the reverse (importing instead of exporting), and remember to save your changes.
Test.
