need help

hello my name is mauricio and I need help, some time I've been working on my SM hack, I already know some basic smile functions, but I wanted to know better where to start here in the forum to learn more advanced techniques like adding a new item , or modify a song, things like that can help me, I thank you :razz:

Hello there!
First of all, if you haven't been referred to this already, a great comprehensive guide exists for SMILE RF here, and we usually recommend that everyone reads this and uses it as a reference. Don't know if you already knew about that.
Also, if you like youtube tutorials, MetroidMst has made some for SMILE 2.5 that are very helpful. A link to that playlist can be found here. These things are both worth bookmarking for any SM hacker.

Adding new items and such are covered in both of those tutorials - See PLMs (although custom items require a lot of custom code, and are more of an advanced project that you will probably want to get more experience before you try, even more so than custom music).

Speaking of music... well, let me start off by saying that music is a little more of an advanced thing, so you might want to try that after you have more experience working with SM and maybe even have already released a hack (even making a small hack helps a lot). However, recently a new tool called mITroid has been released which makes things much easier by allowing us to import tracker files directly into Super Metroid's N-SPC sound engine. Super Metroid: Okay guys/girls can anyone point  me in the right direction for this....i want to remove the 8 seconds notification of grabbing items...if possible all the other side scrolls also.

Not sure what you're referring to when you say "side scrolls," though.
