Metroid 2: Highlands demo (title subject to change)

First demo of my hack for The Authorized Contest, Metroid 2 Highlands. We all know how that panned out.

I'm sure it's a good hack, but... I can't get it to work! I patch the file, run it on VBA like I'd done with vanilla M2, and I appear in the middle of nowhere with items from my save that I had when playing vanilla M2. I tried getting a new file, but nope! There is collision data, but the tiles are a garbled mess!

Perhaps try getting a fresh copy, as in just copy and paste the original rom, and then rename it. Likely if you just patched it over the existing rom which already had a save, that's the problem. Make sure to rename it.

Wait so you actually have a working level builder? That's cool if so, have fun with that.

I'd rename the file. if that doesn't work, look at the wiki and find that specific rom mentioned on the start page there @Ben Plus!

So does the demo consist solely of falling down to the bottom of the first screen and being stuck? Or is there more?

@andlabs yes, but it's not worth playing, as this is scrapped.
