Hi. This is the first time I've drawn anything in roughly a year. I quite proud of it. It's my 'bipedal form,' essentially. I'll try to get a scanned version in some time; the cell phone picture doesn't do it justice. Oh, and this was revised about 4 times and took me 3 hours to perfect.



The GF insignia is a long-ish story.

Also, I know the abdominal lines and the symbol are off-center. Plus the feet are meh.

Well, this is the 'Creativity center', so we wouldn't mind long stories  :wink:

I'll say his feet look a bit odd, and the arm on the left is in a very strange position. His face is left intentionally blank?
I'll say the first pic looks weird in general.
Looks like a quite interesting design. I'll pull an almost uNsane and say:

Lugia. That's the first thing that came to my mind upon seeing this. Not gonna lie.

One arm is a regular claw and the other is a frontloader arm? That looks like some serious Skree digging power. Also, it looks entirely impossible to be standing on those feet without falling over. Even birds have it better off with three toes, but not by much. xP

In the first pic, it looks like the arm and the tail are the same thing, which is probably why it was confusing. :wink:

Alright. Random battle-roleplay between James and I in IRC one day, right? I manage to tear him out of his armor, and pick up the scraps. At that point, I decided I wanted a bipedal form. So yeah.

And I just threw the tail in for sexiness.

His face is left intentionally blank?

Yeah, I didn't feel like doing a face, and wasn't very confident in my ability. Besides, In keeping with my 'story,' I don't need to respire, and sight is really not that important since I can use other senses just as well (gotta love being mechanical).

Yeah, I impressed myself when I was done with the first pic, considering how long it had been since I've drawn anything. I'm a better drawer than I thought, I suppose. I'll have to warm it up and start sharpening that skill; it's really cool.

I haven't done anything pokemon-related in forever, so it never crossed my mind. I suppose it does bear a slight resemblance. It was more subconciously inspired by Iji, though. When I finished the arms, I noticed how I had a huge Iosa Claw and the wing on the left arm looked like a Tasen Commander (missile guys) shield.

I look at the hand and know it's bigger than the entire head, but that's how I want it. Definitely Iosa claw.

I generally flick between all sorts when editing images.  I use paint.net at work, and Paint Shop Pro at home.  I used GIMP in the past as well.  For all those that prefer the simplicity of Paint, I'd recommend paint.net, as it's free, and offers more stuff than Paint without getting complicated.

This reminds me of how I wish I could post my artwork.. but I think a fair bit of it would get blank expressions as it isn't entirely connected with anything well known. Or, more often, is related to either my comic, or stuff I've worked on that only a handful of people even know about.. or things me and my ex got up to. Like stories and such.
