First of all, allow me to apologize for my English, I use Google Translate.

Here I am a fan of Super Metroid and the series in general, I love to explore, fight bosses, find items etc ... However most of the hack that I try his beautiful, but much too difficult and frustrating so I'm calling on you to tell me what are the hacks on this forum whose difficulty does not change at all compared to the original.

Thank you in advance.

Super Metroid Legacy is known for being a hack on par with Super Metroid, and it's probably the best hack to play when it comes to getting into hacks.
Volta is another hack (sadly unfinished) that is similar to the original in difficulty. It's a very pretty looking hack, too.

Since this is a FAQ (frequently asked question) with by now many posts and threads about the topic, let me just link and refer to an older response by me on this matter (from the ''Favourite SM Hacks?'' thread): http://forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php/topic,3170.msg62850.html#msg62850

In particular, check out this almost exhaustive list of by me rated hacks, especially the ones annotated with ''^_^'':

Legacy was my first rom hack experience, and it was what fueled my interest in hacking. if you are looking for a beginner hack, that one is worth playing.

I could echo everyone else, and mention Legacy, but Oxide is also another neat hack to look at, where difficulty isn't the focus.

Life is also very much on par with the original game.

Thank you for your answers, yesterday I completed Project Base and I found that excellent I will do the rest, but tell me I have questions about this rom hacking, I often noticed that the path of the game remains the same is normal? Is a concern for the memory of the cartridge? Can you add new item, combination?

Quietus

It's not actually that common among hacks. If you mean Project Base, that's intended, as it aimed at being a base for you to use to make your own hack, and isn't exactly a hack in itself.
