.asm patching

So I'm trying to patch an .asm file using asar but i get an error i dont know about. Anything i did wrong?

I would use armips instead. All of biospark's, mine, and OneOf99's ASM patches are written specifically using armips syntax. I am unsure is asar handles its syntax any differently. Armips can be found here: https://buildbot.orphis.net/armips/. If you insist on using asar, it just looks like it couldn't open the asm file, so you must not have it in the same directory, or you misspelled the patch name.
