Legacy Randomizer

Hey y'all, I edited Dessy's item randomizer into a randomizer for Legacy, similarly to what Galamoz did for the Project Base randomizer. A few things have been patched in from total's tournament randomizer as well, see the included readme for details.

I originally wanted to create this for Redesign, but with Redesign's complexities I realized I was way in over my head at the time. I chose Legacy as sort of a testing ground for this since I'm very familiar with it, it's similar to vanilla in difficulty, and no mechanical changes were made. Now that I've gotten it to work, I should have the skills to do this for other hacks, so keep an eye out for that. As of now I've been requested to make this for Z-Factor as well.

I spent a lot of time refining the Casual logic for this to make sure it was beatable without advanced techniques and minimal chances of becoming trapped. Speedrunner logic requires knowledge of the speedrun (think underwater gate glitch and lava dive). More details in the readme.

That's awesome, thanks for your work.  I love randomized roms, could you look at the new version of project base and make a randomizer?

Legacy was the first hack I fell in love with WAAAAY back in the day.   Haven't given it a playthrough in probably around a decade.  Will be trying this for sure.

Edit:   OK, I don't see any way out of the bombs area without, well, bombs.   Am I missing something stupid?   Or did I get a really unlucky seed?  Playing casual so it shouldn't be tough.

It seems the link in the first post leads to a deleted file, so the file cannot be downloaded. I decided to re-upload the file in case anyone still wanted it: DOWNLOAD

Thank you for this. I remember this thread and wanted access to this for awhile, but knew the original link was bad. This is great
