Firing speed and beam stacking?

First I was wondering if anyone had tried editing the firing speed for the other beams to match the speed of the Power Beam. Second, I'm pretty sure this is most likely impossible but I thought it would at least be worth asking, but has anyone ever tried beam stacking in the first Prime (since the Annihilator beam might as well be Dark + Light)?

It might be possible to stack beams, but is may require an entirely new script (or at a very major edit.) It would be cool to stack beam, like in Super Metroid, but it may require making enemies tougher. Otherwise, it will end up being overpowered.

i don't think beam can get overpowered, this can be good in mp1, making plasma beam green, charged shots capable of frezing enemies and homing capabilities, but damage same as plasma
