Any Game Maker Metroidvania Engines?

Are there any good, open GMS Metroid or Metroidvania engines out there nowadays, that people have tried out? I've asked on the AM2R forums but got no reply so far.

If I can find one I will make one or more of these:
Monster World 3 or 4 (MD) Remake
Zillion 2 (SMS) Done right
Cyborg Hunter 2 (SMS) or Remake
Faxanadu 2 (NES) or Remake
Ufouria 2 (NES) or Remake
SpellCaster 2/Kujaku Ou 2 (MD) Done right
Kenseiden 2 (SMS)
Zelda II (NES) Remake
Gargoyle's Quest 3/Demon's Crest Done (SNES) right
Popful Mail (MCD) Remake
Battle of Olympus (NES) Remake
TMNT (NES) Remake
Clash at Demonhead (NES) Remake
The Goonies II (NES) Remake
Adventure Island IV (NES) Remake
Getsu Fuuma Den (NES) Remake
Exile (AMI/C64) Remake
Cauldron 2 (C64) Remake

Yeah, this question probably deserves another topic..
anyway, the closest thing i've seen yet is Tokinsom's metroidvania kit. Though it cost $$$ and is Construct 2, not GMS..

It works with game maker 8. You'll have to fix some things if using studio.

If you can find the Kousoru Metroid Engine again, that would by my suggestion. I had it red-flagged but the forum got deleted a couple months ago. If you do manage to find it though, I wouldn't mind re-securing a copy in case my interests shift towards it again.

There's also MEngine, and a few other random Metroid Zero Mission engines made by Physix, if I can track them down I'll post them here. If you want.
