PSA: SD2SNES MSU-1 development for virtual SNES CD-ROM allows cd quality music.

Just a PSA, not my work at all, nor am I the first to mention it, but its freaking awesome.  I feel like i was living under a rock, but until recently not a lot of mention, hope this helps guide someone else to gaming ecstacy!

I know it is a little bit of a legal issue supposedly depending on how you use it, but Super Metroid with cd quality music (still 16bit though), is the best thing ever.  Anyone thought of converting their hacks to MSU-1 compatible?  I will look into it for my mod once its moving along further depending on how hard to implement.


It even supports fmv, like video intros etc

you don't need an actual device to play around with it there are a few emulators that suport this mainly:

bsnes-classic and higan

You will need a msu files and a patched rom (ips) for either. just  fyi.
