Beam Scripts in Metroid Prime 1

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows where and how the projectiles for Samus's beams are stored in Metroid Prime 1. Are they formatted as .WPSC files (the same way enemy projectiles are) or hard-coded? And what exactly does the scriptbeam object do (as seen in the PWE editor)? Is it related to the question I am asking?

I thought it would be kind of cool to see the trooper pirates have matching weapons with their colors :lol:

it's controlled via WPSC files (I think in SamusGun.pak), yea. Everything known about the WPSC format can be found here.

also ScriptBeam is just for the beam cannon in Elite Research, its not related to Samus's beams

Hey Again.

Thanks for the information. They are actually located in the SamGunFx.pak. I accidentally overlooked them when I was searching before. :P

Hmm that's interesting about the scriptbeam and Elite Research cannon though...
I wonder what possibilities exist with using that script lol
