Just to let everyone kow  this project is not and i repeat NOT  abandoned at all!  I just havent had time to work on it for awhile and im trying to figure out things like making mother brain like she was in m 1 and zebetite placement to make the mb room just as it was in m1  if anyones got any tips let me know! I want to take my time and make a great game without bugs glitches or errors.

the old ones were deleted by the admin  as soon as i make new ones  ill post them since  all these new tools and stuff has made things so much simpler
in the mean time  heres a redone kraid elevator

Fix'd that for you. A thing to note when embeding dropbox images, is to change the ?dl=0 to ?raw=1 at the end of the url

I have an announcement concerning old school!!  After some careful thought and consideration I have decided that this will not be a straight up M1 Remake!!  While it will have most of the M1 rooms and cooridoors we all know and love! And a m1 remake has already been done  and my lack of advanced hacking  knowledge! This will be a metroid/ super metroid hybrid!! M1 with brand new redesigned areas  including a m1 style version of Maridia Wrecked ship and Crateria!  Im getting all kinds of new exciting easy to execute ideas!!  Stay tuned for screens and further developments!!

ok Im done taking opinions on Irc chat  all they do is shoot down everything and insult me  and im sick of it  I wont be going there ever again but heres some screens from the acient temle area of old school as well as a m1 room. you dont like it  dont play it!

With the shaft in the temple, you could probably randomise the horizontal positioning of the platforms a bit. It looks very uniform, and doesn't look as good as in the platforms in the other shaft picture above it. It'd likely also encourage players to use them, rather than just wall-jumping.

well at least you are more nice and polite than those in the chat on this site!! some of them were just downright insulting and very rude!  im not making this game for them  im making it for me! but you are right  im gonna tweak those platforms  and make them look good! what i basicly want is for all areas to look like they belong in nes metroid using the sm and m1 graphic tiles  and all in that chat didnt like it all so im never going there ever again!!

Yes, the IRC is mostly Super Metroid hackers and for some reason there are a few that feel the need to be snobs (and down right rude) towards NEStroid hackers and NEStroid in general.  #NEStroidhateclub.  It looks like you got caught up in that since your hack IS Super Metroid but takes on the NEStroid appearance.  You should probably go to the Romhacking.net IRC to ask for opinions on your screenshots, keep your questions in the MC IRC limited to technical related questions and no one will "seize the opportunity" to irritate with their NEStroid trolling.  The moderators don't really seem to give a crap that the MC IRC is so exclusionary.
