Does anyone know where in TLP the tiles for the actual beam sprites are?
(not the items but the sprites)

the best offset imo is D3200 because if you only remember that one you can easily get to: hud (it's the stuff right at d3200, but in GB format), beams, general sprites (explosions and whatnot), grapple beam, morphball/spacejump sprites, item plms, and more.

In your case, go to D3200 in snes format, and just move down (arrow key down because it's close) until you see them.

In SMILE RF, you'll find the palette in the Special Palettes dropdown menu of the Palette Editor.

In SMILE 2.5 or SMILE JX (SABS), there's a big slider under the picture of Samus. Slide it to the right to go to Special GFX palettes. Then in the "Category" dropdown list, choose "Misc Palettes" and in the "Type" dropdown list, choose "Beam Palettes".
