Just got the new Fortress Maximus (big blue guy on the right) in the mail yesterday.

Something wrong with your drop box picture hosting, use photobucket.
Bought this just now for a laptop repair, by the time its said and done with my client will be looking at a 65.00 bill.

I'm not sure it's the hosting. It looks more like it's simply a case of using the wrong link.

Technomagus

That's...  Really weird.  It's working fine for me.  Probably because I'm actually logged into my dropbox right now.  Here's a link to the pic on dropbox.

That's because the picture is already in your browser's cache. If you press Ctrl + F5 it'll probably disappear.

It's because I was logged in.  I just logged out of Dropbox and refreshed and the image was broken.

Now that I can see it, it looks pretty cool, and it reminds me of those gender-swapping agriculturalists.

Lunch time at work yesterday had to buy a new toilet, my mothers toilet needs to be replaced.
So there goes part of my pay and I need to buy another for my bathroom and 10 ceramic tiles for the kitchen floor.  :<_<:

benyabkn

Cookies... sugar free (can't eat sugar :<_<:).

Quietus

Mmm, choc-chip cookies and a nice glass of milk to dunk them in. :yum:

Are you installing the toilets?  They're actually not that hard to install.  Tiles I haven't done but from what I can tell the most difficult part is removing the existing tile and hardened grout.  Get yourself a SDS plus or SDS max hammer drill (or rent from a box store) and use one of those scraper bits and a chisel bit.

BTW, what about toilets makes you guys think of cookies (Quietus and Benyabkn)?   :whoa:  And then you go and bring up the whole dunking bit....  :=x:   :nope:

I suspect it was more in response to the thread title, about people making purchases because they feel flush. :oh:

Also, this seems relevant

Actually no I don't know a thing about plumbing or house repairs, my mother is hiring a painter with his crew to do the work.
She needed me to pay for the toilets because money is tight right around this time.
So with that happening soon after I buy the next toilet on friday I'll get a refund for the eletric lawn mower that didn't work for shit.
Then going by sears and getting a new craftsman lawn mower another 125.00 and she'll pay the rest.

Also about the cookie thing quietus and benyab mentioned, I wouldn't bother going into it any further.
Just daft kids saying stupid nonsense that makes you just really wonder and turn away quickly.

So funny, one of the greatest games of all time, I wish they'd make a HD remake (without removing hilarious gems like that and maybe adding a few more).  Now you've got me itching for some Conkers Bad Fur Day...

Just tease'n ole chappies.....

Ok, back on track.... The last this I bought literally was dinner at Olive Garden and it was quite good I might add.  They kept bringing salad so I shamelessly engorged myself with it until the main stuffed chickeny feast arrived.  The deliciousness concluded with a hot apple bread of some sort with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream followed by a pile of thin mints of which vast (unmentionable) quantities were consumed.

DSO

I bought some new work pants only for tonight to be the suckiest night in months. Also need to get flea stuff as fleas have invaded the home and that sucks too.

I'm a grumpy pants tonight.

I'm curious as to what you have against benyabkn buying cookies..? :O_o:

Zero One

So, got a few neat acquisitions recently. Dad bought me a Gamecube, so he could have his back, then he bought me a PS2, so he could again have his back, both of which I gave him the money for. And today, he bought me a present of a PS3! I was supposed to pay for that with a random bursary I'm getting on Friday. Instead, the PS3 is a graduation present, and the bursary I'm getting is going to get spent on learner's insurance for dad's car, so I can take it out for a drive as long as he's with me!

I also picked up a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 at CEX for £1.50, so this PS3 arrived at just the right time!

I now need to, once again, rearrange my console shelf because the PS3 is currently hanging off the edge D:

Quietus

I have to admit that I've been naughty with my last few, and my PS3 is stood atop my 360.

I get it now, that was because I responded right after dark SA-X talked about the toilets, while I  was talking about the thread (What you just bought) instead of following his last idea, lol.

Quietus

Indeed, which is what about a third of the replies here did, so not so out of place. :^_^:

You my good man are a true gaming nut at heart, don't turn into one of the american video game collectors and have games stacked to the ceiling.

Hey, if I can ever afford it, I wouldn't mind a games collection larger than I could ever possibly play.

EDIT:

whoops bought more

Quietus

I highly recommend playing Jak and Daxter if you haven't already. It's a fantastic platformer, and has yet to be equalled since its release. It's one of the few games I've ever completed with 100% multiple times. If nothing else, it's worth playing to see how it loads the entire world as you play, so you never get a loading screen.

Lunaria

I bought mario and luigi paper jam a couple of days back, game is, well, it's what you'd expect, sort if. More thoughts when I'm through it.

I also shopped a bunch of cloths yesterday, which is great, I needed some more options and cutie outfits. I don't get around to shopping cloths very often.

zephy contributing to the discussion at hand as usual.

This may not be that recent, but a few weeks ago I bought a ticket to a local event in the city I'm currently living in. This event is known as Beerfest and it is happening tomorrow. I'm so stoked to try a bunch of new beers and meet new people.
