Quote from: SlyPork on August 04, 2016, 06:53:40 PMI'm so stoked to try a bunch of new beers and meet new people.
At least your priorities are in order.

Dark-SA-X

Don't worry about zephy not contributing, I'm about to deal with that problem real soon.
Also if you get a picture tomorrow at beerfest post one up.

@Zero One Nice steal did you ever manage to get easy grab setup correctly, if so I expect full game plays with no voice commentary.

@Lunaria Cool beans I looked at the screenshots its look better than the past M&L games, still smrpg is the one I prefered at best.

The cify bus driver decided to toss my book bag into the street while dropping off people and baggage.
My 3dsXL was in it and the top bottom shell cracked as well as the locking piece that holds it together.
My 3dsxl is out of warrenty and I don't have 110.00 to get it fixed by nintendo.
Whats funny about all of this the top and bottom screen still worked and was on when I got home tuesday night
-thank you jesus-
Found a seller on ebay.com that can fix it and his reputation is pretty solid, so just bought 52.00 to get it sent off and repaired.

I've played all the Jak games except for Lost Frontier and X. Jak and Daxter is so good, I've completed it multiple times. Shame everything after that is a pile of shit.

As for full game plays, I definitely want to speedrun Jak and Daxter after watching Bonesaw's SGDQ run.

Agreed. I never understood why they changed the winning formula so much.

I was so looking forward to this being run, but then I saw it was him, and was gutted. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, and managed to watch about ten minutes before I had to quit. I find him too annoying, and it was exacerbated by him running the Japanese version, in which the voice acting is enough to make your ears bleed.

Zero One

You're missing out, it was by far the best run of the marathon. Some would argue Pepsiman was better. They are wrong.

Quietus

As I said, I was itching to see it. Unfortunately, I can't selectively mute the runner, and still hear the game, and I don't want to watch it on mute, as it'd just be weird.

Zero One

Fair enough, it was only the best run BECAUSE of the runner, and the hilarious dynamic between him and the couch.

Lunaria

the quest for the car keys continues!

I guessed that was what you meant. His style doesn't appeal to me at all. Horses for courses, I guess. :^_^:

Bought this on monday and finally came yesterday with my repaired 3ds console.

An apartment!

Well technically I rented it, but close enough.

Had a sudden extreme urge to play Halo for no apparent reason, so Dad managed to find Halo 1 and 2 on the Xbox for about £5 in total, so I paid him that.

And then he just gave me his Xbox and the games because he has no desire to collect for it! So, now I have yet another console to add to my already large collection, a stack of games (plus some PS2 games I forgot I add) which pushes my non-digital, non-PC game count to over 100, and I've been working my way through Halo :D

Next step is to save up enough for a 360 Slim and grab the Halos on that, along with the rest of my wishlist. Nicely, a friend of mine has Halo 4 and Halo: Reach, but no 360, so I'm getting them before I even get the console to run them!

Pictures of your current game collection or I call your bluff.

Here's the left half of the collection, featuring my PS3, Xbox, PS2, GameCube, SNES, Wii and a complete rat's nest of cables that will be sorted out, as soon as I have money. At the bottom, my small collection of N64 games are peeking out.

And here's the right half of the collection, featuring my N64, NES and a spare Wii. Also included is a Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, and a PSP, along with a variety of cables/peripherals. In front of the N64 are my Xbox games, above it, Gamecube, DS, 3DS, and Wii, with the Wii U games being downstairs with the Wii U, followed by PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games overflowing on to the shelf above.

The ultimate goal here is to have a large extension capable of plugging in all the consoles mounted to the wall, along with SCART and HDMI switch boxes, which should turn switching consoles from unplugging a console and its graphics cables and plugging the other one in, to simply pressing a few buttons and having the correct console routed through to the TV.

Your total collection is roughly the size of my Xbox/Xbox 360 collection lol

Zero One

Yeah, my 360 wishlist alone has 40 games on it. I never got into Xbox when I was younger, so I've only just started a collection.

Quietus

One of my favourite Xbox games is The Red Star. It's like a cross between a beat 'em up and a scrolling shooter. :^_^:

oh hey, look who got more games

That's 7 Xbox games for a grand total of £3.50. Also, the Limited Collector's Edition of Doom 3, which is pretty great! The power of CEX! I also already had Halo, but the box is smashed and the disc is scratched to shit. It works, but in the event that it does just fuck up, I have a spare.

Quietus

Halo is still such a lovely game to play through. I recall some of the parts were an arse on Legendary, but it made them more satisfying when you finally beat them. :^_^:

SlyPork

@Zero One why not just get the BFG version of Doom for the PC? I can appreciate the limited edition though if that was the real reason for getting it.

Nice collection of systems!  You should consider picking up some everdrives for them, have a look here:

https://krikzz.com/store/

I have one for the NES, Genesis, and SNES.  In the future I'd like to pick one up for the N64, TG16 (don't have a TG16 system yet), and the new one for the GBA.

I've got a nice stack of carts for my systems but it's really nice to be able to just slide one cart in and not have to drag them all out.

Digital_Mantra

I had a look at my xbox collection and noticed there's a few games I just don't play or need anymore,
so I pawned them and took my friends to IHOP™ for the Breakfast Builder with over 15 combos!
http://www.ihop.com/menu-navigator
Quietus

Each time we visited the States, IHOP was always one of the places on our list. Sooo yummy. I always had good ol' buttermilk stacks with ludicrous amounts of maple syrup, and the odd sausage link. :yum:

I didn't buy it, Dad did. It wasn't even on my wishlist :P But yep, Limited Edition is a pretty nice find.

EDIT: Cool, dad ordered me Red Dead Revolver on the Xbox and Rez on the PS2, both of which arrived today! Can't wait to plug that PS2 in and play some Rez... when I've got some spare time.
