Hey there Metroid Construction!

Metroid's 30th anniversary is fast approaching. It's hard to believe that on August 6th 2016, the franchise will have reached such a notable milestone, and aside from the upcoming Metroid Prime: Federation Force, there doesn't appear to be much of a celebration coming from Nintendo. However, I have set up a community over on Twitter to celebrate the 30th anniversary in a positive way, which is currently edging towards 2000 followers. This has only occurred within the past couple of months, which I feel is quite an achievement.

The account highlights artwork, music, fan projects, news, streams and various campaigns aimed to celebrate the 30th anniversary by its fans. We also put together Google Hangouts where we live chat together with other fans. We are always looking for new ideas, and we are very keen to highlight Metroid themed projects to a larger audience.
