Spriters Needed

I'm working on a little (unnamed) Metroid project in GameMaker: Studio, and I need, well, sprites...

I have a full and working sprite sheet, but some parts of it is filled with substitute sprites. Specifically, the turnaround animations...

(Also note, that my full sprite sheet consists of SA-X-styled Samus sprites.)

As you can probably already see, I only have one set of proper turnaround sprites, whereas the rest are simply Fusion's final suit Samus sprites. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could take a shot at making them into what they should be (I hope I worded that correctly)...

You can download my full sprite sheet here, if needed.
(It's a zip file containing two files: a .pdn file and a .png file. The png file is the regular sprite sheet, and the pdn file is a Pain.net layered image containing the regular sprite sheet, as well as other layers that act as visual representations of the frames' origin points and Samus's hitbox, which help me space out how I want to position each sprite and animate them correctly. I don't really care which one you use, but if you use the pdn file and align the sprites up properly using it, that'd save me a bit of hassle.)

Final note: My sprite sheet contains Power Grip animations which are simply recolored (and slightly edited) ZM Samus sprites. If you wanna edit those too, that'd be great, but I could go without adding a Power Grip functionality into my project anyway, so it's not entirely necessary. :bounce:

Scooterboot, I might be able to help, although, I might have to make a new Samus sprite sheet with different sprites, but I might be able to style it quite close to the SA-X sprites.

Hmm. I dunno. Can you show me a preview of what you can make? :yay:

Meeptroid

Yeah, I could Scooterboot, although, I am telling you it might take a little bit so I can do a good job. My drawing skills are still a bit on the rough side, and a mouse is a little hard to work with, but I will make something for you to prove my skill! I will make a Samus Sprite, facing a few ways, a morph ball, and beam shots. Hope you like them when they are done! Also, these are gonna be custom, not SA-X.

Meeptroid

Wait, Scooterboot, we have a problem, I can't do it, I cannot draw with a mouse, sorry...

Scooterboot9697

That's a bit disappointing, but oh well. They're just turning animations that hardly anyone will see unless they spam the left and right buttons (though, I don't think there's anyone who doesn't do that. :colonrightv: ).

If worse comes to worse, I could always switch to SM style sprites, because I have a complete sheet of those. :bounce:

Meeptroid

Yeah, I did try though! I am still sorry.

No use in letting this thread simply go to waste, and it's easier to recycle this one than to create a new one...

I have switched to SM sprites, as I have a more complete sheet of them. I'm also using the MSR388 anims as well, but that list of sprites does not contain any of MSR388's Power Grip animations. And I was wanting to add Power Grip into my game-thingy...

To put it bluntly, I am in the need of the Power Grip animations as previewed in one of the first scenes in this MSR388 trailer:

And here's a gif for people too lazy to watch the vid:

It would be highly appreciated if someone could (re)make these sprites for me, and it'd be even more appreciated if someone could also make all the rest of the grip animations (e.g. gripping and facing the other direction, as well as the climb-up anims).

Since my project is completely non-profit and such, I regret not being able to give anything really worth of value in return for any sprites someone could make for me. Trust me, I would pay you if I could conveniently afford it ("you" being whoever could make these for me).
