I don't hack myself although tried briefly and failed.

but I love seeing other hacks come together and try to keep up but with so many I dont always catch them all!

Now i was wondering rather than just resprite/renaming has anyone actually implemented any new features or abilities or weapons?

The only ones I have really seen is putting spiderball into super metroid but thats about it.

There are tonnes. Check both the Hacks page and the Patches page.

Ive had a look but without individually playing each i didnt know which - I follow a lot but I havn't seen any that implement others.

I doubt anybody has a list of every addition to each hack, and for anybody to list them, they'd do the same thing - check through them.

To summarise the ones that jump out from the patches page alone (and this page is nowhere near everything that's available):

Shinespark Control - Manually control the direction of your shinesparks.
Spinjump Restart - Press jump to change your normal jump into a spin - very popular in hacks.
Charge Beam Healing - Charging your beam now heals you.
Critical Hit - Provides a change that your shots do extra damage.
Moon Gravity - Allows you to jump higher and higher until you release jump.
Boostball - Allows you to run, and speedboost, while morphed.
Long Beam - Shortens the length of your shots until you acquire this item.
Wall Jump - Prevents wall-jumping until you acquire this item.
Beam Switching - Switch beams without entering the menu.
Remote Bombs - Lay bombs that do not detonate until you activate them.

That's just a few. Be sure to also check through the Collaboration thread.

^ On top of that we have the:

Chaos Arms - Boosts damage of beams but samus takes damage.

we also have the unreleased:

Spiderball - M2 style. I know Sadi has a working one, and IIRC Jathys had something going as well.

Thanks guys.

What I ment was what games have them implemented (so i could try them)

While adding boost ball is also great i was thinking more like totally new stuff rather than modified or altered physics.

Like more weapons on top of the exsisting ones, I dont know for example, Normal bomb, power bomb and maybe hyper bomb?

The short answer to your question is 'nobody keeps a list'. I very much doubt that you will find anywhere that details exactly what hack has what added (not just for Metroid games), as it's just too much work.

I totally understand that and wouldn't expect anyone too - Just if say person X knew of a game that person couldv'e listed it. Im not asking for a definitive list just somthing i could play which would bring some new life to the game without just playing a remapped version of the original (so to speak)
