one idk how to "add" items to the map. im trying to hide items in the map like plasma beam hidden under the ship blocked by bomb blocks, or an energy tank just behind the chozo statue boss with bombs, also blocked away by bomb blocks, early gravity suit inside the save room to kraid. screw attack inside the ceres space station, aswell as some hidden tanks and power bombs. but i cannot add these items using smile or i havent learned how i use the energy tank tile, but it becomes just that a tile i cannot right click it like i could the other items on the map. i tried to add power bomb hidden above morph ball, and i can right click morph ball but i cannot add power bomb even though i put the power bomb on top.

I strongly suggest you read Person701's Beginner's Guide. In particular, you'll want to pay attention when you read section five.
