21fx - tasty sound flavor enhancement for the SNES ?

I never hang around in IRC channels (til now at least), though could not find a single mention of this rather intriguing device/development in this board. In case it's been missed, as some might be interested in it, here it is:

It seems that "the 21fx" can stream large amounts of data, making room for High quality audio and FMV . It's kinda compareable to the planned CD addon which never really saw the light of the day.

I honestly can't really tell how far this project has gone & where it is supposed to be heading, but the insertion of FMV's & music seems to be very possible:

If it weren't for my complete lack of any hacking & programming experience, I would probably attempt putting one of Echoes of Eris's tracks into Eris, just for the heck of it & to try it out. Not entirely sure how much of an possibility that is to be honest.... Oh well.

It looks interesting, but I'm not certain I'm on the level of knowledge/stuff/etc. needed to make use of it. Then again, maybe it'll be easy to use. It's not a troll Bloodsonic.

@ the video: I didn't know the SNES was capable of such great sound. Either that or I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the intro when I played the game one night...
