Yeah, the idea of a Let's play has diversified over the years.  The only ones I can't stand are the blind ones, because you can end up watching a huge chunk of nothingness. :^_^:

Start at a village, a second village is nearby, in the sand, with pyramid.  Three vast mineshafts under the village (starting village), with caves, lots of areas to waste a full day exploring.

BTW: to get to the underground caves and eventually to the vast mineshafts go behind the temple, and dig strait down center of the back wall, third dirt block.  From the cave you can wonder around until you find the mine shaft.  Also you'll probably want to create some steps back up once you find the cave (or just feed yourself to a nice warm inviting pool of lava)
