Yeah you could google for something to run it and convert the format, but since you're posting here I should assume that doing so is simply too hard for you?

Good luck with the Unreal modding.  UT99 is still one of my favourite ever games.  I still play every now and again, and UnrealEd is great. :^_^:

The most probable reason you're having so much trouble is that .spc isn't like a .midi or any other typical music tracker.  Yes, it follows some of the same principles, but it is very different.  Basically (iirc) an SPC player is an emulator for the SPC-700 chip the SNES uses.  The music data, sample data, and the entire sfx and music engine are loaded into ARAM (Audio RAM) and executed from there, using it's own brand of ASM, all contained in the .spc file.  You have a LOT of extra stuff going on there, not to mention that at most you have 8 sound channels to work with and each song (in SM at least) switches instruments/samples multiple times per channel and song.  It's not a format that many people are well versed or experienced in, and with good reason.

Your best bet is to either find the music already sequenced in another format by someone else, or sequence it yourself.  The tools that exist for editing or exporting to another format are pretty shoddy, since each game essentially has its own unique audio engine and needs a special program for editing it.  If it were easy, we'd already have a music editor for SM.   :heheh:
