I'm having a problem with changing the sizes of the rooms. If I change them, it fries the rom. I can open it with double helix, but it crashes when I open a modified room. Emulators just won't open it.

Also, how do I move the doors? I've messed with the exist distance, but nothing seems to change. Changing the clipdata doesn't move them either.

Not really a problem, I can work around this one. The minimap editor doesn't have all of the tiles I need. How would I create them?

Cpt.Glitch

Last time I checked double helix can't successfully edit room sizes. The door issue, do you have "edit doors" checked? If that still doesn't work I'll look for myself in DH later. I've never tried fusion in the editor yet.

Could I change the room sizes with a hex editor?

I have no idea how I missed that. Thanks.

Cpt.Glitch

I think using a hex editor would work just fine. But I've  only opened those ROMS in a said editor only once, so I know almost nothing about that. You'll have to find someone else here to give you that answer :(

Also, how do you move the 'target' thing on the map? And changing the dialog in the navigation rooms.

Cpt.Glitch

I'm not sure how to move the "target" but I can tell you that I've never got DH to successfully edit the nav room dialog. You can find them in the text editor. Maybe I did something wrong, but as far as I know, it doesn't work.

My guess is the Targets are set by Hex. The hex bytes determine the co-ordinates on the map, and which sub-map. Though I don't think any of the Targets have been found.  :nope:
