I had some fun changing some configuration files in my window manager and creating something rather neat.

The arrows are symmetrified monochrome Speedbooster icons that are turned to the right, by the way.

Nah, it's fine, and you'll soon get used to it.  I felt like my 32" was massive when I initially set it up, but now I've got everything connected to it, and it's just 'the norm'. :^_^:

I don't have this problem, just throw most things into a Files or a Folders folder on my desktop. Even then, might it be cluttered for some reason, I've got the free version of Fences which lets all items on the desktop dis- and reappear with a double click.
