I just wanted to make everyone aware that there's a pretty spectacular opportunity to pick up Game Maker Studio Professional as well as several export modules for $25 at Humble Bundle.  Normally you'd be looking at somewhere in the vicinity of $1000 for the items in the bundle.  Also it includes some games and source code to help with learning Game Maker Studio.  I highly recommend this for anyone who is actively interested in making their own game as well as for anyone who thinks they might be interested in the future.  For $25 you can't go wrong.

I believe I linked this on IRC the other day, it's a pretty good deal if you're into gamemaker.

Yeah I was tempted, it's such a good deal! They're also currently giving away Tropico 4 for free, so you should check that out, too. :^_^:

Thanks for sharing Grimlock, I'll be picking this one up for sure :)

Sounds nice but, I just can't find myself using GM anymore. I tried multiple times to make something but, no luck. I lose interest too easily. Thanks for the info though.

Maybe you need to set more long term goals.  Or it could be a result of lack of planning.  Most people who "wing it" find it difficult to complete complex long term projects because of lack of direction.  It's easy to lose interest in a long term path if you're only looking one or two steps ahead of yourself and never at a goal on the horizon.   Anyway I don't know your situation but changing your string of failures/lack of interest is probably as simple as changing your approach.... Then again I guess this sort of thing isn't for everyone....

Probably. I was never good at setting/achieving goals. I am spontaneous for the most part. The only long term goal I have is "death" at this point. (Heard this joke somewhere. Although, very true.) A plan of action(s) would help but, I am just too damn lazy to do/make one. I suppose this is why documentation/release notes are a thing in programming... (Which I do sometimes. Although, mostly forget to do/don't bother.)
