I want to make a claymation Zelda hack

Hi there.  I've been working on this project on and off for about 12 years now.  I'm a sculptor by night (map artist at ArenaNet by day) and I've always had a LoZ critter on my sculpt pile.  At some point I figured I'd photograph my sculpts from all angles, build diorama backgrounds, and convince a programmer to build a LoZ engine I could plug my graphics into.  But then I heard that folks are moding the engine with their own stuff already, so I thought I'd look into this.  I doubt it's a simple enough process for me to just 'plug my graphics into', because I'm extremely non-technical.  But it can't hurt to investigate.

So... anyone have any advice?

Oh, here's pictures of all my figures, (mixed in with other stuff I made)

Those figures look absolutely beautiful.  Sadly hacking into the ALttP or Original Zelda engines have limitations in the size of sprites, the resolutions, and number of colours which can be used.

I would suggest you find someone who is developing their own game engine, and collaborating with them.

I see.  Too bad.  I was hoping for a silver bullet!

Just maybe you can try to combine the Zelda Classic engine with your claymation graphics by pre-rendering them and then downgrading them a little, visually speaking, a la Donkey Kong Country/Killer Instinct.
