Should 'Zero One' play and stick with Zelda - Alttp? (silly question)

That got me thinking about which Zeldas I've actually finished, and it's not as many as I'd like.

I've only finished:
A Link to the Past (A million times - Still the best)
Link's Awakening
Minish Cap
Oracle of Seasons
Wind Waker

Considering myself a fan of Zelda, that's actually quite surprising.

^YES. JUST YES.

Super Metroid And Zelda - Alttp are the shit.

Quietus

Agreed.  I'd add in Super Mario World too, since I don't think any Mario has topped it yet, even though some of the others are great too.

Link's Awakening
Ocarina of Time
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
Phantom Hourglass
Skyward Sword

That's less than I'd like too. I've nearly finished Zelda 1 though; I'm at Level 7.

Quietus

Thou shalt play A link to the Past immediately. :stern:

Zero One

I keep trying D:

I don't know why, but I'll start playing, get a good way in, then just stop.

Weterr123

Dude, get on it!

To repeatedly sack it off is sacrilege  :evilno:

^I second this.

Weterr123

Thought this would be mildly amusing. And hopefully convincing

Merged this thread with the other one since no Youtuban was involved. I like my topic title better.

On that note, I would recommend playing the GBA port if you absolutely must, imo. Not being able to cut grass with even the magical boomerang bothers me something fierce, and I don't know why.
Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda II (with an infinite jumping cheat :D)
Link's Awakening
Oracle of Ages
Oracle of Seasons
A Link to the Past (GBA port. Can't stand the SNES version. See above.)
Ocarina of Time (Still my least favorite game.)
Four Swords
Wind Waker
Four Swords Adventure
Twilight Princess
Weterr123

If emulating, the GBA port is much smoother and nicer to play, the snes rom is kinda laggy and bad, despite what configurations you may choose. (well, with snes9x anyway)

And the GBA port contains the extra bonus dungeon which you can access via completing the multiplayer only 'Four Swords' (dick move on nintendo's part).

Thankfully, cheat codes sort this problem

Daltone

lol awesome,

you should totally play lttp, its like a good version of zelda 1

Zero One

Y'know what? I'll stream it, so you guys can point and laugh at my failure. How about that?

Quietus

There is no failure as long as you're playing it.  Go, go, go! :^_^:

Lunaria

Zelda games I have beaten? :V

Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda 2: Adventure of link
A Link to the Past (And GBA port)
Link's awakening (and DX)
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Oracle of Seasons
Oracle of Ages (Both way links on these two too)
Four Swords
Four Swords DX (or whatever it is called, the 3DS version)
The minish cap
The Wind waker
Twilight Princess
Ocarina of Time Master Quest Mirrored (That would be the 3DS version)
Skyward sword

On the list of things I have not beaten are:

Legend of Zelda: Second quest (though, I did make it to level 8!)
Four sword adventure (hahaha, yeah, getting a PAL copy of this is fucking impossible.)
Phantom hour glass (Fuck that shit, never going back to playing this, EVER)
Spirit tracks (I was almost done with this one... then my save file got corrupted. :I)

Unless you're at Level 7 in the second quest, then sorry... you've got a ways to go.

Parabox

Finished Link to the Past, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, BS Zelda Third Quest and Fourth Quest, and finished BS Zelda Eight Stone Tablets (all the BS Zeldas as close to normal games as possible, so no timers, Link patch, etc). Somehow WW was by far the most fun. I guess it's just the most well dressed-up series of collection quests, and the gameplay mechanics and the little things are very nice, too.

RekoningFang

Zelda Games i have beaten,
Legend Of Zelda
Link to the Past-Pretty sure it's the best
Ocarina Of Time
Four Swords(Gamecube)
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess-One of my favorites
Skyward Sword-all difficulties
Im sorry fellow Link fans but i did not like Skyward sword all that much.

Quietus

You liked it enough to finish it on all difficulties. :^_^:

Basically this, except I have't finished Skyward Sword, I've beaten Zelda 1's 2nd quest.
