Apparently yes PNG is better. For editing HUD, take Tile Layer Pro, fundamental software for editing a lot of graphic stuff in the game.
HUD? yeah. First, make always a BACKUP of you rom, in case of irreversible errors.
When you have TLP, open your rom into it. Change the format to Game Boy. Go to the offset D3200 and you will find most of HUD tiles (Quietus was a good master  :lol:)

That being said, I think we can leave this one alone. This 'hack' hasn't got a whole lot of content to it anyway, and the creator is now working on a real hack. See you guys next mission.
