I can't honestly believe that you weren't aware of where they came from.  Pokemon's lore is full of references to them.  Even in the first village in most of the games, there's one at the bottom, and another just inside the back door. :oh:

I forgot there was even a rule about that... Oh well! I'd venture to say that staying out of "obnoxious" length is okay.

It's one line of text AND image banner. Without image the limit is 10 lines AND 500 symbols  (that's what forum allowing to do).

That may be what the code may restrict you to, but I was referencing what was provided as a rule.

1. Sig limit - Signatures are solely limited to one 500px by 150px image and one line of text. Multiple images are allowed as long as they fit within the 500x150 limit. Said image must be 300kb max, or, if multiple, 50kb per, or you induce hell on our users with dial-up. If one also desires, one may have a spoiler tag in their sig that contains an image up to 500x500 pixels in size. However, said spoiler tag must fit within the original 500x150 image and one line of text limit. Violators will simply have their sig removed.

This isn't really enforced, and, as person701 mentioned, it's clear that the mods allow anything that isn't causing problems. :^_^:

Yeah, I do remove them if I check image sizes. I'm a bit more lenient on sigs without images, especially if the signature doesn't reach too far below where the person's post would end minus the sig (because of their avatar/optional fields and so forth). This is because I'm close to being a hypocrite.
