Zelda 3 Sprite Sheet

This is a sprite sheet for Zelda 3. It was originally made for the Quest for Calatia hack, but now it is being available for anyone to use.

The goal was to test out sprites and gain information about them.

Is it a perfect document.....probably not, but I'm sure there are some things in it that could be useful for any Zelda 3 hacker.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have probably written better descriptions, but anyway, here it is.

Is Quest for Calatia dead?

Actually I just talked with him today by e-mail.

This is what he said:

"I still plan on making Zelda3C someday, but life keeps getting busier than it was before.  Sorry for the postponement, you've always been one of the most avid voices for this project.  I've been wanting to make a diary update, letting people know it's on hold, but I just haven't done it yet."

Also keep in mind that I spent several years coming up with ideas for this game. That game needs to get done.

Well, at least he still plans to finish it. That's good, but real life has to come first. I know how that is.

I think more Zelda3 hacks would get finished if Hyrule Magic wasn't such a stinky editor. I'm really hoping Black Magic gets released soon. I have an idea for a Zelda hack, but I will never work with HM ever again. It's way too limited.
