Enemy sounds when using them outside their normal areas.

(already searched for this in the forums and didnt find anything)

I'm trying to use Eticoons in the landing area, but they all sound like they've been kicked hard in the nether regions. I've also run into similar issues in the past, trying to use enemies from Norfair in Crateria, for example. Are there any workarounds to make enemies sound the way they should?

It's because of the currently available sample set. If you set the music to Green Brinstar in the room with the Ectoons, they'll sound normal. The only fixes are either that or to import the samples they use into the instrument set for the music you prefer for the room they appear in...

Honestly, unless the change in the noise bothers you a great deal, it is kind of fun to mess around with what sounds they make. Changing music led to Oxide's Barf Kraid, and to SLT's Bleh Phantoon. Mess around and see what noises you can come up with. Some are quite entertaining.
