Sort of happy some one is asking for a release date...however, like quietus said, there will be no release date, and I won't expect one for a while, as I can only work on this during the weekends, except during breaks and Holidays, considering I'm going to school. However, I have not opened it and taken a look at it for a long while :/. But, for making you all wait like this if you even think I have some skill and expect something good, then I WILL make it great for you. If I had been able to work on it with all the time I had and BEEN working on it since, I probably would have a release date. But today, for you, I will begin to work on it again and make some progress, and I won't post a screen until I'm sure the work is alright. Just to let you know, I'm 16 years of age. odd, didn't I delete most of the existing screens show casing any progress I made? Anyways, thx dino. Yes I do know that there are screens of my work to show my mistakes. I'm surprised you are looking forward to this...what brought you to the site anyways...?

I'm anxious because I like the hacked versions of SM ... but it is normal , the delay of launching roms hacks ... have to be very long time, creativity and dedication...thx Corruptor!

This is an eight page thread for a hack that isn't even started. It would be nice if you, uhm, actually got started on the hack instead of responding to every single post here.

Indeed, but now I've got a basic hold on tile editing now! that wasn't hard at all ._.
anyways, I'm wondering how to change the color of the hole tile set, without changing them individually.
EDIT: I seem to have run into a tiling error...is my door placed wrongly? AND I have got some sky scrolling errors, and I got rid of the scrolling pudding sky.


likely, they can simply be fixed, I'll look a moment and say if I can't figure it out.

If you'd actually worked on your hack in the last 10 months, that wouldnt really be a problem :/
Those are bugs nearly everyone gets when they first start playing around with the landing site.
The games uses specific doors to check whether to fix the landing site background, otherwise it'll break. You can fix it manually in the BG_Data code for the landing site, or just dont change the doors that lead into landing site. If you go by the 2nd method, you can change where doors lead to in the LS horizontally, but not vertically, but they MUST be the exact same door ID. You could also just remove the scrolling from the sky.
As for the palette. Click tools > graphic editor.

Never really messed with the doors this time...but now I will, so I'm going to use your first solution, and if that doesn't work for me, then I will use your last one. EDIT: I mean I want to change the color without screwing with important palette's for other tiles :P oh well...
Check it out! a new landing site.....yey? Honestly I'm sort of please with how the color's are looking...and now I've got a cracked tile to signify where a pick up may be!

I can barely see any detail with a picture that size.  Even so, I can see tonnes of the usual BTS errors. :^_^:

You could always use a different host if Imageshack is causing you too much trouble.

Personally i use Hostingpics, you can select the format of the picture easily.

I see 21 missing BTS errors. I can also see exactly where you got lazy and just copied the tile data from vanilla SM, because it sticks out like a tree in a haystack.
You've also gone the wrong way about avoiding the scrolling sky error. You can only reposition doors horizontally, not vertically (or you get a buggy sky). You've only moved the 2 lower doors vertically. Unless you change the BG_Data setup code, the sky will glitch. Or you can move them both to the lower screen again.
