If only you had a completed room rundas... because what is done is sexy af. If theres sidehoppers busting out of the gates in the housing units project maybe, but im not a fan of rooms where you run down this hall, jump up, run down that hall, jump up, etc etc. Monk you need some filler tiles for your rock and your metal structure on the right. If you strewed the red and blue everywhere it'd look better imo. I also think the rock formations are a bit bland. Mst: ..... . Snarf: lul

Webber for me that palette is gorgeous and the design is spot on

I am loving the Metroid 2 feel of Red Monkey's room.

Anyway, the rooms:

XVIII - I like the tileset, and the palette certainly fits the environment, but it's so redundant. I assume it has enemies spawning from the door ways, so there's that. But in general, although none of the tiling is really copy paste, which shows effort, the room itself is far too boring. I agree with Qactis about this one.

Websber - That palette. So fucking good. It fits the RB tileset perfectly. I will say however that your room feels a little too symmetrical, I'm sure it looks fine in game, but I think it could use some more variety. Other than that, it's a great room. Easily one of the best RB rooms I've seen. 

Rundas - man, if you'd just waited a week til it was done, it'd be really awesome. As is however, there's no way I'm voting for a room that's so far from being done. What's there however, is fairly good. You are deffinatly getting better with level design, so good job. Keep it up.

Scarlet Monkey - In some ways, the room is really good, and in others, it's just plain. I understand that it isn't entirely done yet, which is good, as there's still a lot to be done to the room, but as is I suggest adding filler to the phazon covered ground tiles, or at least some indication of the phazon being present further down then just the top layer. I'm sure the room will look great when it's done, but for now it's not the best here.

Mstofmetroids - Well, first, I question having an obviously mochball floor right above a small jump you could take instead. The lack of bg really takes away from the room. Level design isn't too bad though. I am aware however, that it's a joke room. So was the effort it took to make it really worth it?

Had to go with Webber aswell. It's amazing how much just a slight pallet change can do. The room details are also a major factor, but it's the darker redish/brown pallet that gets me. Nice room.

projectXVIII - i don't like those doors, they look like cheep jewelry stuck together. i do like the center of the doors how ever, and think they would look good if expanded upon. something about tetris!? and there is something about housing unit E that saiz "go in here Monkie there is prizes inside" but i can't because there is no access, only access to unit A and H. unless thats all part of the plain, as if you had to chase down the guy that bricked up all the doors and unleash missile fury. then i say nicely done.

Webber - your background is incredible.

iRundas - just looking at the bottom and the right side, this room is looking good. i dig the plants but not the filler.

MetroidMST - cool?? maybe

snarf - that room looks hard to get threw

It's actually quite simple. You just need the right items. Marumari is obviously required, but you'll want the bombs to kill the zoomers, too. I'd rather have an area impractical, but possible, to access without the appropriate equipment instead of making it completely inaccessible.

Since you seemed to miss it from my previous post, I will spell it out for you. The room is not a joke. It is in fact from a hack-in-progress. Just because I have no other public info on it released does not mean it is a joke. I do not post joke rooms. With this new knowledge, enjoy.

when does this thing start, i got a room burning a hole in my pocket.



its inspired by an episode of stargate. using GFX/palette/table created in less then 3 hours using a massive Metriod graphics resource that will be released in 2 - 3 weeks.
