Rules of the Trading Center

Welcome to the Trading Center! The purpose of this board used to be to share and trade resources between members that are not intended to be public, or fully public releases. This way you can limit who will use your patch to those who have proved their skill in Metroid hacking in some way. That was silly since people do it without the aid of this board, and it wasn't getting much use. All links to hacks, however, have been redacted for the owners' convenience.
This is also the place to offer trades and/or bartering for various patches, asm, graphics, etc. as long as it is within reason.

This board is no longer secret. Since this is so, feel free to post requests for aid or answers to, but if something is to be shared privately, then it is meant for a private message.

To barter/trade items here, make a topic about what you wish to trade, prepended with your preferred type of game. Eg, "[SM] ASM for Graphics" or "[M1] Palettes for ASM". In the topic, clearly describe what item/items you wish to trade or barter for, and anything you would be willing to trade for it.

To accept a trade or barter, or if you wish to know more information about an offer another member has made, do so in the same topic which was created for it (don't make a new one). Ask any other details that may need to be confirmed.

Bartering/trading is a first-come-first-served basis. If someone has already agreed to trade with someone, don't do the same thing, and expect to get anything for it. If the offerer wishes to trade with both parties, that is entirely up to them, but the deal will only remain with the first party to accept the offer.

When a trade or barter is agreed upon by both members, you are both agreeing to fulfill requirements made. While there is not really any "binding" contract between two members, breaking out of a deal or not playing your part will lose you respect from other members, and they may not be willing to enter into a barter with you again.
