Well as you people on IRC well know over the past few days I've been working on an engine using SFML I've been calling "Metgine"

As of about 15 minutes ago I've had it compiling on both Ubuntu 10.10 x64 and Windows XP Media Center

It's been designed with Modularity in mind, EVERYTHING can be extended and is designed to be.

Features:

  • Particle Engine
  • Physics Engine - This is a very simple Gravity, Velocity, and Acceleration type engine(No fancy Box2D stuff)
  • Resource Manager - This is easily extended by inheriting from the Resource base class so it's Infinitely useful
  • Threaded Resource managment - Because freezing the window just to load some data is REALLY bad form :P
  • Sound System - (You really think I'm not going to use SFML's awesome Audio library?)
  • MANY MORE FEATURES TO COME

Cool.  Any info as to likely features?  For those of us who don't frequent the chat, your post's a little empty. :^_^:
