Interesting Crys. I've messed with a LoZ editor in the past but I don't remember if it's the same one. I was waiting for MathOnNapkins to finish his before I try my hand at it again. That area seemed a bit cluttered though IMO.

One person did answer you.  I think that it suffers from blockiness, like a lot of hacks do.  Concentrate on the shape of your rooms, and add slopes if your room is sloped.

Crys: I like it, although I agree with the cluttered thing.  It looks like you do the same as me, and think 'just a bit more.  Just a littlemore...'  Grin

    But you should understand this:
    As for gunnars map

Well, now that i'm posting here, why not give a screenshot of something?

A new "noob bridge" really takes noobs out Grin!.
Well, there's an alternate way, so noobs can get past that. (Though Samus takes a little bit of damage in that alternate way)

Uhm... Mockball much? Or did you disable that?

Now aiding the MetConst army in a most nostalgic way, I bring you Deathknight. His axemer, a cross between an axe and a hammer, is able to first slice through you, and then break your bones or snap your spinal cord. In his chest is emblazoned the Parabox, an artifact most powerfull. It is the metaphysical battery for his axemer.

    Yes, i disabled mockball Twisted.

Well, not really. You must mockball. If you fail at that, you must go through a few spikes. But, fortunately for beginners, they're not the animated spikes. The natural ones which are only in Brinstar tileset and do less damage. (By the way, i see a lot of save state users Grin  Mockballing over that bridge is hard, you see.)

I also remade one room in my Metroid game:

That's a big room, but it looks quite good. I'm trying to ignore that you haven't redrawn stuff yet, but the general shape of the room is nice. I'd recommend putting some more slopes into some of the really flat parts (along the cieling at the bottom, flat wall at the top left of the bigger room).

Also, you won't see the top/bottom 2 lines of those rooms, so in the first one, you can save a bit of space if you need it by wiping out the top and bottom 2 lines.

It looks like redesign, but not as good.

Can't wait to see how it looks after you draw some of your own stuff! :D

well, doesn´t matter, i wrote it in a free space part of the rom, but BEVORE the end, so i better don´t add rooms to this location.

    gunnargumpert: please don't double post, edit your previous one. <_<;

on the topic of Volta, that was a demo. FirePhoenix asked Drewseph for permission, and as always, he told him no.  FirePhoenix told us he was going to take the slope gfx out of Volta. This demo was released QUITE SOME TIME AGO, I assume they have been removed since then.

What you should also understand is that, while some of the Redesign stuff being withheld now may seem stingy, that hack was created years ago, when most of the stuff was brand new, and a lot of it was discovered by Drew and his team.  I can understand him being protective, to be honest, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's also forgotten a lot too.

On a side note: Has anybody heard any more about his newer project, with the random room thing going on?  It was like Megaman's endless mode.

Wha? Drew's doin another hack? IIRC, he said he didn't plan on doing anything new but I suppose time could change things...

And to throw my two cents at the 'Volta stealing Redesign tiles' subject, also gotta remember that Volta didn't go on a tile similarity looking rampage like your hack Gunnar. ;D

Since when did people use scientific fact to justify hacking laziness?
